It will get you where you need to go.

Bought my Tahoe as a second hand/used one from a former construction worker here in Sweden.. he in turn imported it from US in 2018.
After giving it a good cleanup and some well needed maintenance, you know.. plugs, brakes, oilchanges, filters etc. it has proven to be extremly reliable and useful! Ok gas/milage is a tough one theese days, but i have choosen to not give a damn.. Including ALL costs.. calculating on a five year life with me, i get a way cheaper than leasing a new car for the same time period. Me an my family went from sweden on roadtrip to Germany with no problem at all… Four grownups with all the luggage you can think of.. still enough room to toss in a fridge in the back if i wanted. The interior is quite well made and tough and is holding up well, even after 20 years.
Ok.. so.. drawbacks? Yep. -i wish the frame wound have had a better corrosion protection. Its full of various little holes that makes it easy for water/salt to get inside but no where to exit.. Body is still ok, but i had to get rid of the sidesteps since they made it more or less impossible to keep the body underneith the doors clean.
Do remove/install the sparewheel a couple of times a year and clean upp behind it a bit or everything will corrode badly.
Lastly; at 70mph i have the ”Chevy Shake” issue. I have tried abbout everything there is including re-balancing the propellershaft, replacing the aft bush in the transfercase and the gearbox mount, with no improvements what so ever.
