Predictable handling and amazing AWD makes for a good car for snowy climate
Oct 31, 2023
We love our 2007 Impreza we actually prefer it to the generation that came after in 2008 simply because the older version seams a bit more balanced and the body is more ridged. We actually own a 2009 Impreza in the family so we are speaking from experience when we say the 2007 just feels more solid. I think it may be related to the suspension as well as the amazing lenier drivetrain but this impreza is bar far one of our most favorite cars. We used to take it to our cabin in the mountains and we never really had to worry about getting snowed in because we knew 9 times out of 10 the Subaru can dig its way out of whatever snow bank it gets into. We just recently purchased a 2018 Subaru Forester because we needed a bigger car to lug around the family but we have no plans of selling the impreza.
