Earned my respect

Overall it is a decent sports car, it is not up to par to the European sports cars like the Lambo or A8 but it does not cost as much so I guess you get what you paid for. The build quality is on par with my wife's Jeep Grand Cherokee. Interior feels very cheap, just too much plastic. I am not a fan of this suspension, unlike on my M3 when you get the tail out on a Corvette you do not have much control over what happens next. I have not driven the new Corvette but I heard that GM already addressed some of the same complaints I am making.
