Cylinder deactivation is the worst idea GM has ever had
Aug 08, 2023
There is a reason when you write Cylinder deactivation in Google a bunch of ads for cylinder deactivation disablers come up and the reason is simple. Cylinder deactivation is a horrible idea that will eventually destroy your engine. Who really cares if it saves them $40/year in fuel costs if they have to replace the entire engine due to this feature causing irreparable damage to the engines most vital components. Do NOT BUY ANY GM VEHICLE WITH CYLINDER DEACTIVATION, learn from others mistakes, its as simple as that.
