Constant transmission problems
Aug 02, 2023
We first purchased this van because we loved how versatile the interior was. We loved the under floor storage and the overall roominess. For a while the van performed flawlessly bringing the kids to and from school, football practice and so on... At about 70,000 miles the car started driving funny, jerking during acceleration and sometimes hesitating to accelerate all together. So after taking it to our trusted local mechanic he told us that the van needs a transmission and it is not uncommon to see these things go out under 100,000 miles. That all happened a few years ago and now again we stuck with the same problems at 120,000 miles. Very similar things are happening. How can a car manufacturer make a car like this? Also why don't more people know about this flaw? I am writing this to help others stay clear of this rolling pile of garbage.
