    Good
    Aug 02, 2023

This truck was redesigned for the 2014 model year, so that is what I wanted, and that was exactly what I was looking for. You cannot beat this half-ton pickup truck. I like that the handling is more carlike and the cab actually very quiet, sometimes I forget and think I am in some luxury car. I have not had it for long but no issues to report as of yet.

2014 is the best year for this truck
    Aug 02, 2023

I got the 2014 model year because I know they changed them for this year. It has a more powerful engine then previous version however it is still a bit disappointing when you compare to the HD which you get with the V8. So it may not pull very well however it had one of the nicest most compliant rides I have ever driven, I am guessing they fiddled with the suspension to make the truck more comfortable as a daily driver. As much as I have enjoyed owning it I would not consider this truck the best truck I have ever owned, in fact I would not buy another one for one simple reason, it feels like a dog when you accelerate, it just does not have the grunt to pull a boat or hall a load. I realize it is only a half ton truck but after driving a F150 I think ford does a better job as a daily driver and occasional boat puller. Forget about brand loyalty just buy what works best for you.
