Very good car but not pleasant to work on

I have been working as a mechanic for a few years and quite honestly I have a soft spot for Audis and VW. Having grown up owning GTIs and A4s I kind of gravitate towards the brand. There is a lot to love, good handling, amazing interiors, good power. However there is equally a lot of things to hate, it is notoriously difficult to work on, there are modules everywhere, everything requires a special tool or programing, and there is an overkill of clips and retainers everywhere. Overall I have a love hate relationship with the brand.
